John Swannell’s exhibition of his Nudes at Hoopers Gallery (November 2006) was very successful but also highlighted market differences between the U.K. and U.S. The prints at Hoopers were selling (unframed) for £1800 + tax. One month later one of the signature prints of the exhibition sold at auction in New York for
$19,000! This has resulted in an increase in the price for this print in the U.K. but it will be well under the U.S. price.
