ABSTRACT

ALTERNATIVE PROCESS PRINTING Despite the wave of digital photography that ’ s overtaken all types of image making, the last few years have seen not only a renaissance in analog and low-tech photography, but a resurgence in interest in older processes, including ones that date back to photography ’ s 19th-century beginnings. These alternative processes are often time-and labor-intensive, but the variety of looks and the combination of control and unpredictability they offer have earned them loyal followings.
