Snapshot in 1974 and was published in 1977 by Violet Press as Iowa — the first published monograph of work done with a plastic camera. Rexroth was picked up by Light Gallery early on, and her work from Iowa , now highly collectible, continues to be widely shown, even today. This seminal series is recognized for revolutionizing the relationship between toy cameras and the fine-art world.
