Calibration of devices. This needs to be addressed at regular intervals as all device capabilities and performances will change over time (see ‘Calibrating the monitor’, page 93). Calibration ensures that all devices conform to an established state or condition. Note that this is not the same as the ‘default’ or ‘out of the box’ state.
