ABSTRACT
Adam and Eve Believe. The term, which ante-dates the 1914 war, and may have been known in the late 19 C., was always jocular, and at the present time is used chiefly to children, but also on 'leg-pulling' occasions. In the latter setting it implies disbeliefas one disbelieves the tall stories told by children.
