We need to add some ripple to the reflection itself as it would be distorted by the water’s surface. This is easily done with the Ocean Ripple filter.
9 Select a large, soft Eraser; using the edge, erase some of the lower area of the reflection to fade it out. We’ll also add a little tint to the water. We’ve used a Photo Filter Adjustment Layer set to Cooling at a very low density. You could use a Hue/Saturation adjustment set to Colorize.
