ABSTRACT

Historically, in the world of digital art and illustration, the general perception was that two-dimensional art and three-dimensional art fell into two separate camps. When I first dabbled in illustration, in the mid-1990s, there seemed to be people who worked in 2D and other people who worked in 3D. Nobody really crossed paths in terms of creating artwork. There was the odd exception, but for me, 3D models showed potential and seemed as valuable a resource as photography when working in Photoshop.
