ABSTRACT
The spatial characteristics and relationships of sound sources are an integral part of music and audio productions. Spatial elements are precisely controllable in audio recording, and sophisticated ways of using these elements have developed in audio and music productions. Spatial relationships and characteristics contribute significant information in current music productions, and are important in critical listening applications.
