ABSTRACT
Keeping your material as CD audio means that it is easily accessed using ordinary compact disc players. The audio can be reloaded into the computer faster than real time (×12 or more). However, editing information is lost and there can be a small loss of quality for each generation of copying due to the compromise nature of CD audio recording, which was never designed as a data storage format.
