Now that your DAW is complete, you are ready to start using Pro Tools 8 LE and taking advantage of its many features. In this chapter, we start up a new session, learn about session parameters, using common tools, and navigating the Workspace. We also learn how to use session templates, using the Mix and Edit windows, transport tools, tracks, plug-ins, routing, input and output (I/O), and preferences.
