ABSTRACT
Kim A. Tolman, a native of Germany, is an award-winning scenic designer. She relocated from Cologne, Germany, to the San Francisco Bay Area, California, in 2001. Kim brought along her scenic design and hand-drafting skills that she had refined in German theatre and opera to California, where she quickly made the transition to computer-aided design. Kim became a user and advocate of SketchUp, which she enjoys for its power and ease of use. She was one of the only 300 individuals worldwide who were chosen to attend Google SketchUp 3D Basecamp 2008.
