ABSTRACT
Tasked with creating a C-segment sports hatch in the spirit of the Ford Focus RS and Subaru Impreza, the project begins with a scribble. Many, in fact: I’m trying to find a strong theme that gives the car the same feel but with a different identity. Already in my head I have an idea for a rear-slanting rear screen and bodycolored B-pillar for a unique window graphic. I also want to try something new with the body section: this is a dynamic car, so I want to reflect that with the haunch spiraling in with the front-fender flare.
