ABSTRACT

Generally speaking, religions as social existences are established based on the founders’ original ideas or basic principles, but they do not always develop as purely closed systems. Islam was founded by the prophet Mohammed, based on the revelation of Allah. Hinduism was formed in close association with what is called the caste system. But Muslims regard the Jews and the Christians as their fellow believers of the Holy Scriptures, and Hinduism, in the area where it came into direct contact with Islam, gave birth to Sikhism.
