The In-House Pitch You’ve done the easy part: you have decided to animate a short film or video on your own. Now what? You need a story, a concept, something-anything-to draw.
The pitch is a short description of an idea that will excite people and make them want to see the finished piece. You can pitch your concepts to other people until you come up with something that others seem generally interested in, or you can listen to pitches from other people whose ideas you trust. The pitch is also what you will use to get others interested in helping you complete your animation. The more excited you can get other people to be about your idea, the more people will want to help.
