ABSTRACT
Festivals There are a number of reasons to enter film and video festivals, some of which are discussed in the interviews presented later in this book. The festival circuit is a great outlet for animation that would not be seen otherwise. It allows fans and industry professionals to see who is doing what kind of work. Festivals also tend to strive for new creative grounds; they are a place for us to stretch our wings (Figure 41-1).
