Timing a Slow Action Occasionally it is necessary to animate movements which strain the medium to its limit, such as slow movement. In a lyrical mood, slow motion or a comedy situation this may be unavoidable. The closer drawings are to each other, the slower the movement appears. On the other hand, the wider the spacing between drawings, the quicker it looks on the screen. But there is a limit in both directions.
