ABSTRACT
Composition I started without any previous sketches. I had the idea of “constructing” the vehicle over a real technological element. I took an engine photograph (Fig.02) and used its huge exhaust nozzle as the starting point of my painting. This powerful machine is the main element of the piece and I thought creating a whole painting based on a real object would be an interesting artistic exercise. The rest was created in Photoshop CS using a graphic tablet. I didn’t use any other elements in this work like 3D models or previously rendered images.
