ABSTRACT

At this point in the project, you should have a /renders/ directory full of individual shot directories, which in turn are full of rendered frames. In The Beast, the renders directory contained 19 GB of OpenEXR fi les. Figure 16.1 shows the rough cut of the animation with preliminary animation clips in place, being replaced by fi nal OpenEXR Image Sequence strips. Because you already have a working Sequence editor fi le for the evolving animation, putting these renders into place for the fi nal animation should be fairly easy.
