Notice the bad edge fl ow on the selected polygons in Figure 7.32. There is a triangle in there, too, which isn’t ideal. If we add edges and rework the topology, we can create a more organized surface. Don’t expect the art of a perfect quad-based surface to come to you overnight, but with lots of practice, you will prevail. If you need some inspiration, visit some Internet forums and study other people’s meshes to see how they are arranging their edge fl ow.
