ABSTRACT
Since a teenager I have always been fascinated by sci-fi and industrial robotics. I wanted to create this image to realize a robot design focused on functions and applications, rather than simply appearance. I think that the sophistication of a robot is achieved through the symbiosis of art and science, and the role which design plays to enhance the beauty of the other. Thus the exterior design of technology must visually convey the information system within and allow the identity to become instantly recognizable. My inspiration for the design came directly from human dynamics; I wanted to create a sort of bio-inspired technology, something that man created in his own image (Fig.01).
