Information: Here we have created the basic terrain geometry and added the main tool which will enable us to deform the surface of the mesh to create the mountains.

The Render Multiplier has been increased so there are six times more polygons when this mesh is rendered to add more detail to the surface. Luminance Center is enabled purely to drop the mesh down a little once the displacement map has been assigned to it as it takes (by default) a mid-grey color to be this value. We have increased the length of the animation to give us ample time to fly over the surface of the terrain and to take in the air.
