ABSTRACT
The devotion of a whole chapter to the role of petroleum in Saudi Arabia needs no justification. Oil has been imperative to the development of the Kingdom and, despite the Kingdom’s successes in expanding the industrial and agricultural sectors of the economy, oil will continue to be the Kingdom’s primary source of revenue in the foreseeable future.
