ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we first summarize the preceding chapters in point form (Section 9-1). Each point is numbered, with the first two digits of its number corresponding to the relevant chapter and section numbers respectively. Next, we discuss some recent trends which were not treated in the preceding chapters but are worth mentioning in relation to changing stratification (Section 9-2). Finally, we discuss future prospects concerning changing stratification and class/status awareness (Section 9-3).
