ABSTRACT
These struggles, this holy Knightly Order of the Hospital of St Mary of the German House has zealously imitated and has deserved to be graced with many honourable members, for there are knights and chosen fighters, who for the love of honour and the fatherland have exterminated the enemies of the faith with a strong hand. They also, from abundance of love, receive visitors and pilgrims and the poor. They also from tender-heartedness, serve with fervour the sick who lie in hospital.
