Dr. Taher was able to see me in Riyadh on 24 November. He listened to a detailed disclosure of the situation. If Lisnave became the sole manager, he favoured my forming a company as party to the Management Contract which would market the repair work carried out by the dry dock. He recognized I had always been on the Arab side. He requested me to go to Tokyo to see KHI, and said he would ask OAPEC to remove the dry dock project from the Agenda of the forthcoming meeting because if there were to be changes in the management structure, it was much too late to introduce them at this stage.
