ABSTRACT
This edition of the World Yearbook of Education has health education as its theme. This is particularly appropriate with the continual increase in population in so many countries and its associated problems. Many important health themes are common to most nations, if not all, and other major issues can no longer be seen as the particular concern of just one nation or culture nor will they remain so. The pursuit of good health for all and the need for health education cuts across all international frontiers.
