ABSTRACT
This chapter describes an approach to multisensory storytelling developed in Finland with children and adults with severe disabilities, using a model which emphasises aesthetic, social and cognitive aspects of a drama-based interaction that goes beyond speech and provides novel ways to cope with the limits of human capacity.
