ABSTRACT

The tomb chapel of Khnumhotep II contains 44 microscenes: 16 on the west wall, 11 on the north wall, 5 on the east wall, 7 on the south wall, and 5 in the shrine. This chapter presents descriptions and suggested interpretations of each of these microscenes and overviews of their immediate spatial contexts (the four walls of the main chamber, and the shrine as a whole).
