ABSTRACT
This chapter, next to offering food for thought regarding adult teaching pedagogy and related experiences, is all about locations of knowledge transfer, points of view and perspectives. In what follows, I am placing in the centre of the analysis a training event which, for me, has always been about Asia and ‘European Studies in Asia’, but which nevertheless happened entirely in Europe; in the ‘capital of Europe’, in fact.
