Self-assessment: some related approaches

In this chapter we explore the uses of self-assessment in learning logs, records of achievement and related approaches, and the assessment of prior learning. We consider various forms of work-based learning and how these might involve self-assessment and we offer some guidelines for developing and assessing work-based learning.
