ABSTRACT
This brief chapter provides a perspective on change and resistance to change together with some suggestions for anyone who wishes to change. or persuade others to change. their approaches to assessment in a department. school or university. It is based upon studies of innovation and the authors' experience of introducing innovations in teaching and assessment.
