ABSTRACT
To prepare fleas for the Flea Circus (as in the Cole Porter lyric, ‘Bees do it, even educated fleas do it’), cover them with a sheet of glass so that it smashes them back each time they leap. Two days of this and they’ll never jump again and are described as ‘educated.’
