ABSTRACT
The so-called ‘objective’ interpretation is as much ‘subjective’ in this sense as ‘constructive’ interpretation. The mind that interprets is not a tabula rasa; neither is it just a calculating machine or an electronic brain. The interpreter is a thinking being and as such he will have to interpret with a mind having a system of beliefs and from a standpoint which he happens to occupy at the time of the interpretive activity.
