ABSTRACT
IN treating my subject, the" Chivalry of Germany", I shall confine myself, as far as possible, to aspects of Chivalry
and manifestations of its spirit which are peculiar to that country. Previous writers have already dealt with many of the fundamental questions, and so give me the more time for developing my particular theme.
