ABSTRACT

The Arsaeids have left nothing but their coins and a few monuments of architecture. The ruins which may be attributed to their time number five—the temple at Kanguvar, the building at Hatra, the small edifice at Farrashband, the funerary chamber at Warkah, and the palace at Babylon, to which one may add the remains of a palace at Susa, built over the hall of audience of Artaxerxes Mnemon.
