ABSTRACT

All of the last week and through today the tem~ pIes of Japan have welcomed pilgrims. Ten thousand daily have prayed before the Kwannon in that temple which now stands where thousands perished in the fires of earthquake. This eastern part of Japan, this section of the nation then drank sorrow to the full, and to the millions left the Higan must mean much. So many, many souls have passed into the Great Be~ yond, through Higan, to Nirvana.
