ABSTRACT
As seen in the previous chapters socio-economic assessments of PAs will provide a mixture of information (monetary, quantitative, qualitative and spatial), derived using a range of data sources and methodologies. This chapter explores what the results of the assessment mean and how they should be interpreted. It also draws attention to how results could be misinterpreted and what those carrying out the assessment might wish to do to minimise this risk.
