ABSTRACT
This work has outlined the impact of the judicialisation of WTO decision making on member states’ behaviour, and has also echoed the commentators who recognise the existence of an informal precedent resulting from this judicialisation. Applying this to the field of trade and environment, it can be seen that the WTO influences environmental policy at both international and national levels.
