ABSTRACT
Some financially very successful businesses are to be found in design, entertainment, art, music and sport. They are often businesses that depend on the ability of particular culture entrepreneurs to exploit a specific creative talent or gift. These entrepreneurs possess the FACETS characteristics but they have additional talents at distinctively high levels. Arguably the entrepreneurs behind these businesses would prefer to be remembered for their creative contributions rather than for their business acumen. Some gifted artists and musicians have always been able to generate financial wealth through the development and exploitation of their natural, creative talents, and we explore the presence of entrepreneurial characteristics in the way they create and chase opportunities.
