ABSTRACT
Both the world of business and society as a whole are going through one of the most fundamental transformations that has ever occurred in history – the “Great Transformation 21,” as we named it when we started to study the profound changes back in the middle of the 1990s. Some of its basic patterns of change were quite clearly visible if one applied the tools of systems theory and the cybernetics of complexity.
