ABSTRACT
The word Dharma (Pali: Dhamma) has many meanings, so many that it is, like certain other Sanskrit terms, virtually untranslatable into English by any one word. Law, Teaching, Righteousness, the Norm, all these have been suggested, but it is with the aspect of the term as Duty that we are here concerned.
