ABSTRACT

I like maps. I like poring over maps of places I have visited and studying their relation. So with Buddhist doctrine. I like any map which shows me the relation between the 'towns' or aggregates of thought and the rivers of influence which flow to join them. I am now seeking a map which shows the relative position of two enormous countries called, among other names, Absolute and Relative. Where are they, and how does a traveller pass from one to the other? Let us explore, for I weary of carefully reasoned articles, and care not if these notes produce a map to please a scholar, or remain as fingers pointing, however unsteadily, along a Way.
