ABSTRACT
The history of socialism is never complete; its vast history suggests that it is subject to intense and sudden changes. Thus, it is impossible to have a full perspective on the most recent trends in socialism throughout the world. Yet it is important to establish the most recent developments in socialist history in various countries and the most recent trends in socialist thought in order that a fuller perspective may eventually be reached.
