ABSTRACT
In the final stages of this book, my aim is to be forward-looking, drawing on what we have learned and understood about the youth justice system and in order to consider key questions about what we might want from it, and how it might be constituted to ensure that it operates in a way that does indeed do ‘justice to young people’ (Smith, 2011b).
