ABSTRACT

Drawing in the third dimension Having articulated basic architectural forms within four quadrants – our site – we turn our attention to observing and refining those patterns in three dimensions. In everyday terms, this is where our project turns from abstract boxes toward articulated forms suggestive of buildings. e goal is to extend pattern-making to include additions and subtractions, decisions that will define interior spaces and the paths through those spaces. In turn, the project connects notions of interior and exterior, and grounds the figures more richly within the site.
