ABSTRACT
All social relations, we have seen, are psychical relations, relations of minds. Whatever their physical and organic bases, it is psychical laws alone that directly bind man to man in society. This is the starting-point of all knowledge of community. Community is no greater mind, but it is created by that activity of men's minds in which they relate themselves incessantly to one another.
