There are no individuals who are not social ind'ivid'Uals, and society is nothing more titan individuals associated and organised. Society has no life but the life of its members, no cnds that are not their ends, and no fulfilment beyond theirs. There is no conflict between society and the individual, between the welfare of society and the welfare of the individual. The quality of a society is the quality of its members. There is no social morality that is not individual morality, and no social mind that is not individual mind.
