ABSTRACT
Strategy design and the implementation of policies to arrive at a desirable future scenario require knowledge of strategic innovation. The creation of future visions requires skills related to all the other topics discussed in this text. Several foresight methodologies are available and these may be applied in the areas of policy (e.g. ICT, science and technology, environment and energy), society (climate change, green issues, ageing population, etc.) and in private organisations (corporate foresight).
