ABSTRACT
According to the World Federation of Exchanges, Hong Kong has the second largest stock exchange in Asia and the sixth largest stock exchange in the world (in terms of market capitalization in US$). As of August 2013, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange had 1,575 companies listed with a combined market capitalization of HK$22.66 trillion (US$2.80 trillion).
