I MUST now give some account of the slaves themselves, and their lives on board,
&c. Of the three hundred and twenty-two, there were a hundred and eighteen men, a hundred and nine women, and ninety-five children, including thirty-two men and women from two wrecked dhows, surrendered on demand by the chief of Brava. Among these there were eleven different tribes, viz.:—
